Hey there, I’m Wayne Messam II (WMII). I work as a game audio designer specializing in audio system programming. Thanks for listening to my game audio reel!
I am currently producing audio for my video game studio Neptune’s Cloud and my team of indie game development professionals under the name Little Drones. In my work I place a huge emphasis on developing unique audio experiences through audio system design and implementation.
In the fall of 2020, I graduated from Florida Atlantic University earning my BA in Music with a concentration in Commercial Music Technology after being apart of the 2020 Game Sound Con Scholar’s Program. Outside of learning audio engineering and production techniques at my internship with Hoot Wisdom Recordings, (record label) I utilized many online education sources both in and out of college in order to develop my craft for sound design, composition, and programming in C#.
Because my university did not provide courses for game audio specifically, I took it upon myself to bring game audio to my alma mater. I ended my collegiate career leaving behind a research project about Game Audio Experimentation through demo reels in the video game industry that will propel any students after me who are interested in a career in game audio.

This is a demonstration of my approach to integrating the Audio System to “N3-VR’s” Unity Project using Scriptable Objects, Unity’s Event System, and custom C# Scripts. I go over my role as Audio Lead, the creation and implementation of the audio system, and the problems I faced as an audio programmer. Near the end, I discuss what I’d do better next time and some tools I would be able to use in conjunction with every custom tool I utilize in the video.
This is a Sound Design demonstration of my skills in 2021 for non-linear media such as gameplay and action sequences using a combination of Logic Pro X and Pro Tools.
SOUND DESIGN DEMO
This is a Sound Design demonstration of my skills for linear media such as cutscenes and trailers.
This is a demonstration of some dialogue sound designs I worked on in Logic X Pro using a combination of the following plug-ins:
- Phoenix Verb
- iZotope Collection
- and other Logic Pro X stock plugins
N3-VR (pronounced “Never”) is a first-person puzzle game. Its protagonist, Little Drone, is a robot whose task is to repair a seemingly derelict frigate called Pan’s Flight to ensure that it can reach its final destination. All sound design and dialogue has been produced, designed, and programmed by me. My team of over 20 people has been working remotely on this project.
This is a mix of my music in some projects I worked on along with some demonstrations on some popular titles that match the aesthetic of my songs from my debut album “Essence”.

Once Upon A Time
Once Upon a Time is a soundtrack album I made for a Metroidvania Collaboration through my studio Neptune’s Cloud. It is the first of the assortments for the game where I produce all sound design and music for.
